Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the youngest child of four. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist, and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her passion for the theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she loved monkeys. Her meteoric rise as an actress in her early years was quick and marked by early success. Following her studies in 1998 she participated in a French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she has since gotten rid of her childhood. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen interest in photography and recently exhibited her work during the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on celebrity and fame, and turns the camera on those who scrutinized her after her meteoric rise to fame in the film Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first major role starring as a lead character in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office hit, receiving accolades during awards ceremonies across the world. It's the most-grossing French film in America. The following year, she appeared in British dramas, including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood in the United States, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
