Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress is known for her roles as The Resident's Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence as well as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Also, she was recognized by her debut on television as Eleni Andros cooper on the soap opera of CBS Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film Immortals. She is also working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
