Ashley Darby
Ashley Darby is an American music and TV host. She gained fame after she took the title of Miss District of Columbia 2011 and she has also been part of the cast for The Real Housewives of Potomac from its beginning in Jan. Ashley Darby is an entrepreneur who is passionate about hospitality philanthropy and holistic health. As a Maryland native with a spicy personality Ashley has been instilled with perseverance and an incomparable motivation to make it happen. Ashley is the largest of her siblings and her mother's sole child had to work multiple jobs in order to support the family. She attended University of Maryland at age 18, and was employed as bartender to provide for her family and friends. In the course of bartending Ashley was sought out in the Miss District of Columbia Pageant and went on to take the crown in 2011. Ashley was presented to Michael Darby, an Australian millionaire in real estate who is 29 years older than she is. There was excitement, and Ashley was given a glimpse into a world she didn't know existed. Ashley and Michael became married and the proud parents of Dean Michael in 2019 and Dylan Matthew in 2021. After eight years together they officially ended their relationship in 2022. Ashley is a yoga certified instructor who believes that balance is about the inner calm and physical well-being. Ashley has had the most enjoyable time she is working hard to find a balance between the love of her family and business. Ashley has a career as an actor on TV. But she began her career as bartender so that she could support her family financially. Her love of fashion and entertainment began when was just a little girl. Her entry into the competition was with her full energy and determination. She also won Miss District of Columbia 2011 and also was crowned Miss District of Columbia. She then participated in Miss America, but she didn't win the title. She was able to get a scholarship. She received a $5000 scholarship and the John Curran Award for Non-Finalist Interview.
