April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 in seventh grade. She began playing guitar and piano classes, which ignited her interest in music writing. At the age of 12 April came up with her first original song Different. The singer spent much of her time when she was 14 writing songs and practicing music. Then she began to take trips to write with father, who lived in NY and LA. April was the month that she began to write about other issues in Take My Hand for her friends who were dealing with disabilities, peer pressure or suicide. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle influencer, as well as working in partnerships with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia she has gained her own fan base. She was born without her left hand and that is part of who she is--but that's not the entire story. She still admits having gone through a few phases with her physique, feeling uneasy in some instances to wear clothes that showed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and posts photos of herself in the outfits she wears on social media. To her, self-love was an extended process. But, this isn't common for anyone with doubts. The people around you with, who know you, and can see into your heart are the most important people to help you remember what you're concerned about.
