Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14th, 1980) is an American performer, actor as well as a dancer. In her early Broadway role, she was in Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. In You Can't Take It With You She was the recipient of the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in an Play. Tony Award-winning actress Annaleigh Ashford is a veteran of her career working alongside renowned directors and actors across theatre and on television. she is continuing her award-winning project with various upcoming ones. Ashford is scheduled to be as a co-star with Kumail Nanjiani, on Robert Siegel's Hulu exclusive Welcome to Chippendales. It will premiere on 22nd November. Ashford's upcoming project will be Searchlight Pictures horror thriller Dust which he is starring in with Sarah Paulson and Ebonmoss-Bachrach. The film will stream through Disney's DTC platforms, as well as Hulu Original. Ashford's Broadway comeback will be on March 20, 2023. He stars opposite Josh Groban for the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. Thomas Kail (director) and Jeffrey Seller (producer), the same team who produced Hamilton is directing the show. Ashford was most recently seen as Paula Jones in Ryan Murphy FX series American Crime Story Impeachment. The series is based on the National Crisis, which saw Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp in the middle of the nation's first impeachment proceedings over 100 Years. Ashford starred for two seasons on the CBS popular comedy B Positive. It was developed by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. The show also featured Ben Vereen and Hector Elizondo. Sunday in the Park starring George Wicked and Legally Blonde are amongst her additional Broadway performances. Ashford is a Denver resident who splits his time between Los Angeles.
