Katherine Heigl has revealed that she was brought up in a white bubble and how that influenced how she raised her adopted multiracial kids. She was in the movie "Firefly Lane", revealed to a reporter that it did not matter what color her skin was to her. But after having a conversation with her adopted Korean American older sister, she realised the distinction in the way people were treated by her. I inquired of Meg if, when out with her parents, she got a particular treatment and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different one. She responded "Oh Yes! All the all the time!" Heigl addressed Parents about how she realized her ignorance. She admitted to becoming angry but felt she needed use that anger in order to assist the adopted children she has. Heigl, who has been with Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old, who is Black from South Korea in 2012.
